Analis Fungsi Produksi Kelapa Sawit Rakyat di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

The analysis of production functions of Palm's tree small holders in district of Serdang Bedagai, Province of North Sumatra by using cobb-douglas production function as analytical tool. The variables are land area labor and maintenance cost five an effect significantly production in interval confidence of 99 percent. The estimated result shows: - The increase in 1 percent of land acre will increase the total production 0,297 percent, catteries paribus. - The increase in 1 percent number of labor will increase the total production 0.263 percent, ceteris paribus. - The increase in 1 percent maintenance cost will be compensated by an increase the total production 0,439 percent, catteries paribus. The farmers’ productivity is stated to be relatively (optimal) in Palm small holders with 112 Ha acres. Therefore, the farmers’ income. Rp.4.48 Million: Ha in ratio R/C 1.84, can be improved because the control on using of production factors improve, the number of labor can be met, and availability of the capital are not too large. The use of non-labor family 14.05 HKSP/Ha, and the tota1 cost Rp.1.64 Million/Ha have been stated to be insufficient. The addition of labor and maintenance cost is needed immediately, particulturaly in the growth phase of Palm tree in 4-5 years of age. The extension and training pattern can increase the productivity, thus they could overcome the limitation of labor. if pattern of collaboration between government and the Palm owners can be established well, and it will help Palm farmers to overcome the limitation of capital required.

Analisis fungsi produksi kelapa s.awit rakvat di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagi Propinsi Sumatera Utara dengan menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas sebagai alat analisis menyatakan banwa luas tanah, tenaga kerja dan biaya pemeliharaan berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap produksi pada tingkat kepercayaan 99 persen, dengan hasil estimasi sebagai berikut: - Peningkatan luas tanah sebesar 1 persen akan meningkatkan total produksi sebesar 0,297 persen, ceteris paribus. - Peningkatan jumlah tenaga kerja sebesar 1 persen akan meningkatkan total produksi sebesar 0,263 persen, ceteris paribus. - Peningkatan biaya pemeliharaan sebesar 1 persen akan diimbangi meningkatkan total produksi sebesar 0,439, ceteris paribus. Kapasitas kerja petanidinyatakan relative optimal pada kebun kelapa sawit seluas 3,12Ha. Sehingga pendapatan petani sebesar Rp. 4, 48 Juta/Ha dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,84 akan dapat ditingkatkan karena upaya pengawasan terhadap penggunaan factor-faktor produksi semakin baik, jumlah tenaga kerja dapat terpenuhi dan tersedianya modal tidak terlalu besar. Penggunaan tenaga kerja luar keluarga sebanyak 14,05 HKSP / Ha dan pemakaian biaya sebesar Rp. 1,64 Juta/Ha dinyatakan masih sangat kurang. Penambahan tenaga kerja dan biaya pemeliharaan sangat diperlukan terutama pada masa pertumbuhan kelapa sawit yang masih berumur 4-5 tahun. Pola penyuluhan dan pelatihan dapat meningkatkan produktifitas petani sehingga petani dapat mengatasi keterbatasan tenaga kerja. Bila pola kerja sama antara pemerintah dan petani kelapa sawit terjalin dengan baik akan membantu petani dalam mengatasi keterbatasan modal yang diperlukan.
