Keanekaragaman Serangga pada Lahan Pertanian Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annum L.) di Desa Gambus Laut, Kecamatan Lima Puluh, Kabupaten Batu Bara
Abstract
The research on insect diversity at red chili (Capsicum annum L.) agricultural area at Gambus laut village ( Lima puluh; Batu bara regency), had been conducted from October to January 2021. The aim of the study was to determine the diversity of insects by using different methods at various points during the growth phase of chili plants. The location of the samples collected were determined by purposive sampling and sampling was collected using a swing net method and direct observation. The results showed that the total insects found were 29 species contain of 7 orders and 25 families. The CPP plot (chili, rice and pesticides) had 7 orders, 21 families and 24 species, The CTP plot (chili without pesticides) consists of 7 orders 25 families and 28 specie meanwhile. the CP plot (chili and pesticides) consists of 4 orders 12 families and 15 species. The insects found have roles as pests, predators, pollinators and parasitoids. Base on H ‘ ,the highest H’ value was at CP plot (3,278) and the lowest value was at CP plot (1,667). The highest E value was at CP ( 0,631) and the lowest is at CTP (0,511). The highest chili production was in the CP plot which was seven tons. The Lowest production in the CTP plot which was three tons. The generative phase of the insects showed aged 5-9 weeks as many as 28 species from 747 individuals. However, the vegetative phase aged was very low, showed around 1-3 weeks consist of 15 species from 265 individuals Penelitian keanekaragaman serangga pada lahan pertanian tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annum L.) di Desa Gambus Laut, Kecamatan Lima Puluh, Kabupaten Batu bara telah dilakukan pada bulan oktober sampai dengan januari 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman serangga dengan perlakuan yang berbeda di berbagai titik selama fase pertumbuhan tanaman cabai. Penentuan lokasi sampling secara purposive sampling dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode jaring ayun sweep net dan pengamatan secara langsung visual control. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serangga yang ditemukan sebanyak 29 spesies dengan 7 ordo, 25 famili. Pada plot CPP (cabai, padi dan pestisida) terdiri dari 7 ordo, 21 famili dan 24 spesies. Pada plot CTP (cabai tanpa pestisida) terdiri dari 7 ordo 25 famili dan 28 spesies. Pada plot CP (cabai dengan menggunakan pestisida) terdiri dari 4 ordo, 12 famili dan 15 spesies. Serangga yang ditemukan memiliki peranan sebagai hama, predator, polinator, parasitoid. Nilai H’ tertinggi terdapat pada plot CTP (cabai, padi dan pestisida) (3,278) dan nilai terendah pada plot CP (cabai dengan menggunakan pestisida) (1,667). Nilai E tertinggi terdapat pada plot CP (0,631) dan terendah pada plot CTP (Cabai tanpa pestisida) (0,511). Produksi cabai tertinggi pada plot CP yaitu tujuh ton. Produksi terendah pada plot CTP yaitu tiga ton. Kehadiran Serangga fase generatif berumur 5-9 minggu sebanyak 28 spesies 747 individu. Sedangkan pada fase vegetatif berumur 1-3 minggu serangga yang hadir sangat rendah yaitu 15 spesies sebanyak 265 individu.
