    Studi Inkompatibilitas Antara Injeksi Furosemid dengan Injeksi Amiodaron Hidroklorida, Infus Glukosa dan Infus Natrium Klorida

    Abstract
    Background: Furosemide Injection is indicated for treatments of hypertension and edema that arise from the failure function of the heart, kidneys, and liver. In the hospital, in the ICU for treatment, patients often need more than two drugs, requiring a combination of injection and infusion. However, medical personnel often ignore the compatibility between injection or infusion drugs used. The fact many drugs are not compatible if used together, therefore can harm the patient. Objective: To determine the incompatibility of furosemide injection with amiodarone hydrochloride injection, glucose infusion, and sodium chloride infusion Method: 10 mg/mL furosemide injection solution was mixed with amiodarone hydrochloride injection, glucose infusion, and sodium chloride infusion through one container (0;0,5;1;2 hours occupancy), bolus injection, or via the Y-site. The 5% glucose solution volume variation used were 100 mL, 250 mL and 500 mL. Incompatibility parameters observed were color, visual turbidity, particle size, pH, turbidity value, and particle morphology. Results: Admixture between furosemide injection with amiodarone hydrochloride injection, glucose infusion, and sodium chloride infusion didn’t show visual turbidity. The longer the admixture time between furosemide injection with amiodarone hydrochloride injection, glucose infusion, and sodium chloride infusion, the particle size and the value of the turbidity increased, while the pH value decreased. The higher the volume of the 5% glucose infusion solution admixture in one container, the particle size and the value of the turbidity of the solution increased, while the pH value will decreased. Conclusion: There is an incompatibility between furosemide injection and amiodarone hydrochloride injection, glucose infusion and sodium chloride infusion.
     
    Latar Belakang: Injeksi Furosemid diindikasikan untuk pengobatan hipertensi dan edema yang timbul dari kegagalan fungsi jantung, ginjal, dan hati. Di rumah sakit tepatnya di ruang ICU, untuk pengobatan pasien sering membutuhkan lebih dari dua obat, membutuhkan kombinasi antara injeksi dengan infus. Namun tenaga medis sering mengabaikan kompatibilitas antara injeksi ataupun infus yang digunakan, padahal kenyataanya banyak obat yang tidak kompatibel jika digunakan bersamaan yang dapat membahayakan pasien. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui inkompatibilitas injeksi furosemid dengan injeksi amiodaron hidroklorida, infus glukosa dan infus natrium klorida Metode: Larutan injeksi furosemid 10 mg/mL dicampur dengan injeksi amiodaron hidroklorida, 500 mL larutan infus glukosa dan infus natrium klorida melalui satu wadah (Pendiaman 0;0,5;1;2 jam) penyuntikan bolus, maupun melalui Y-site. Untuk larutan infus glukosa 5% juga dilakukan variasi volume 100 mL, 250 mL, dan 500 mL. Parameter inkompatibilitas yang diamati adalah warna, kekeruhan secara visual, ukuran partikel, pH, nilai kekeruhan serta morfologi partikel. Hasil: Pada pencampuran injeksi furosemid dengan injeksi amiodaron hidroklorida, infus glukosa, dan infus natrium klorida tidak terlihat kekeruhan secara visual. Semakin lama waktu pencampuran injeksi furosemid dengan injeksi amiodaron hidroklorida, infus glukosa, dan infus natrium klorida maka ukuran partikel dan nilai kekeruhan larutan semakin meningkat, sedangkan nilai pH semakin menurun. Semakin besar volume larutan infus glukosa 5% pada pencampuran dalam satu wadah maka ukuran partikel dan nilai kekeruhan larutan semakin meningkat, sedangkan nilai pH semakin menurun. Kesimpulan: Adanya inkompatibilitas antara injeksi furosemid dengan injeksi amiodaron hidroklorida, infus glukosa dan infus natrium klorida.
