    Laju Dekomposisi Serasah Mangrove Rhizophora Mucronata di Desa Lubuk Kertang Kecamatan Brandan Barat Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara

    Abstract
    Mangrove litter is a contributor of organic matter in the mangrove ecosystem which will undergo a decomposition process which is then used as a source of nutrients for plants and also a source of food for the surrounding biota. The purpose of this study was to measure the decomposition ofleaf litter Rhizophora mucronata and to determine the nutrient content of carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) inleaf litter Rhizophora mucronata released during the decomposition process. The study was conducted from January to March 2021 in Lubuk Kertang Village, Brandan Barat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. Determination of research stations using purposive sampling method at three stations with the determination of stations based on observations of the availability of mangrove species Rhizophora mucronata. The results showed that the rate of decomposition ofleaf litter was Rhizophora mucronata 17.79 at station I, 9.92 to station II and 9.55 to station III. The content of carbon nutrients during the 90-day decomposition process was at station I of 17.40, station II of 17.95 and station III of 19.43. Nutrient content of nitrogen during the 90-day decomposition process, namely station I of 2.23, station II of 1.86 and station III of 1.07 and Phosphorus nutrient content during the 90-day decomposition process, namely station I of 0.43 Station II of 0.10 and station III of 0.14.
     
    Serasah mangrove merupakan penyumbang bahan organik di ekosistem mangrove yang akan mengalam proses dekomposisi yang kemudian dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber unsur hara bagi tanaman dan juga merupakan sumber makanan bagi biota di sekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur dekomposisi serasah daun Rhizophora mucronata dan mengetahui kandungan unsur hara karbon (C), nitrogen (N) dan fosfor (P) pada serasah daun Rhizophora mucronata yang dilepas selama proses dekomposisi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2021 di Desa Lubuk Kertang Kecamatan Brandan Barat Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara. Penentuan stasiun penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada tiga stasiun dengan penentuan stasiun berdasarkan pengamatan ketersediaan jenis mangrove Rhizophora mucronata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan laju dekomposisi Laju dekomposisi serasah daun Rhizophora mucronata yaitu pada stasiun I bernilai 17,79, stasiun II bernilai 9,92 dan stasiun III bernilai 9,55. Kandungan unsur hara karbon selama proses dekomposisi 90 hari yaitu stasiun I sebesar 17,40, stasiun II sebesar 17,95 dan stasiun III sebesar 19,43. Kandungan unsur hara nitrogen selama proses dekomposisi 90 hari yaitu stasiun I sebesar 2,23, stasiun II sebesar 1,86 dan stasiun III sebesar 1,07 dan Kandungan unsur hara Fosfor selama proses dekomposisi 90 hari yaitu stasiun I sebesar 0,43 Stasiun II sebesar 0,10 dan stasiun III sebesar 0,14.
