Identifikasi Penyakit Kanker Paru-paru pada Citra Medis Chest X-Ray (CXR) Menggunakan Metode Convolutional Neural Network

Abstract

One of the causes of many deaths that occur today worldwide is lung cancer. The presence of malignant tumors in the bronchial epithelium is the cause of lung cancer. In men about 30% of deaths that occur are due to lung cancer and in women about 20% of deaths that occur are due to lung cancer. In the 90's, the hospital in Jakarta called Cancer Dharmais for cancer had occupied the 3rd place after breast cancer and cancer of the cervix. The number of deaths that occur every year around the world has more or less exceeded half a million people due to lung cancer. In general, this disease occurs in humans aged 30-70 years and the peak of cancer is at the age of 55-75 years. The exact cause of lung cancer is not yet known, but currently it is known that prolonged exposure or inhalation to substances that contain carcinogenic properties is one of the main causes in addition to other factors such as genetics, a weak body and others. Several studies have reported that lung cancer is associated with smoking habits. Lombard and Doering have reported that the incidence of lung cancer is higher in active smokers compared to passive smokers.

Salah satu penyebab banyaknya kematian terjadi saat ini di seluruh dunia adalah kanker paru-paru. Adanya tumor ganas yang terdapat pada epitel bronkus menjadi penyebab terjadinya kanker paru-paru. Pada pria sekitar 30% kematian yang terjadi merupakan akibatkan kanker paru dan pada wanita sebanyak 20% meninggal dunia akibat kanker paru-paru. Pada tahun 90-an pada RS yang terdapat di Jakarta bernama Kanker Dharmais untuk penyakit kanker telah menempati tempat ke-3 setelah kanker payudara dan kanker pada bagian leher rahim. Banyaknya kematian yang terjadi pada setiap tahunnya di seluruh dunia kurang lebihnya telah melebihi setengah juta penduduk diakibatkan kanker paru-paru. Pada umumnya penyakit ini terjadi pada manusia yang berumur 30-70 tahun dan puncak penyakit kanker pada umur 55- 75 tahun. Untuk penyebab pastinya terjadi kanker paru belum diketahui namun saat ini yang telah diketahui menghirup udara yang terpapar zat terkandung karsinogenik adalah salah satu penyebab penyakit ini selain faktor seperti genetik, tubuh yang lemah dan lainnya. Dari beberapa penelitian telah dilaporkan bahwa kanker paru berhubungan dengan kebiasaan orang yang merokok. Lombard dan Doering telah memberikan laporkan bahwa besarnya kasus kanker paru pada pengguna rokok aktif daripada dengan perokok pasif.
