Produktivitas Primer Perairan Pantai Sialang Buah Kecamatan Teluk Mengkudu Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The activities of the visiting tourist community and especially the people who live around the Sialang Buah beach as a means of livelihood as fishermen and as a place for the community to dispose of domestic waste. The purpose of the study was to determine the condition of the coastal waters of Siallang Buah from the level of primary productivity of the waters and its relationship with chlorophyll a and the physico-chemical parameters of the coastal waters of Siallang Buah. Measurements were made at three research stations in situ for temperature, DO, salinity, brightness and pH as well as measurements of chlorophyll a, nitrate and phosphate in the laboratory. The highest productivity found in the coastal waters of Sialang Buah is station I with a value of 1317,930 mgC/ m3/day, station II with a value of 400,384 mgC/m3/day and station III with a value of 417.066 mgC/ m3/day. The relationship between the primary productivity of the waters has a strong relationship with the primary productivity of the waters, which is 0.778.

Kegiatan masyarakat wisatawan yang berkunjung dan khususnya masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar memanfaatkan pantai Sialang Buah sebagai sarana mata pencaharian sebagai nelayan dan sebagai tempat pembuangan limbah domestic oleh masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kondisi perairan pantai Sialang Buah dari tingkat produktivitas primer perairan serta hubungannya dengan klorofil a dan parameter fisika-kimia perairan pantai Siallang Buah. Pengukuran dilakukan pada tiga titik stasiun penelitian secara in situ untuk suhu, DO, salinitas, kecerahan dan pH serta pengukuran klorofil a, nitrat dan fosfat di laboratorium. Produktivitas tertinggi terdapat pada perairan pantai Sialang Buah adalah stasiun I bernilai 1317,930 mgC/m3/hari, stasiun II bernilai 400,384 mgC/m3/hari dan stasiun III bernilai 417,066 mgC/m3/hari. Hubungan produktivitas primer perairan memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap produktivitas primer perairan yaitu 0,778.
