    Analisa Mutu Inti Produksi ( Palm Kernel) dengan Parameter Kadar Asam Lemak Bebas ( ALB ), Kadar Air dan Kadar Kotoran di PTPN III PKS Kebun

    Abstract
    Has been conducted the core production quality analysis (palm kernel) which aims to determine the levels of free fatty acid (FFA), moisture content and levels of impurities in the core production. And to find out whether the production core has met the standard set by PTPN III PKS Kebun Rambutan. The sample used is a palm kernel or a stock pile. Analysis of free fatty acid content was performed by acid base titration using standard solution KOH 0,056 N and thymol blue indicator, the way of drying in the oven for water analysis, and for the analysis of dirt content is determined by weighing the result of the amount of impurities contained in the palm kernel. Of the result has been done, the free fatty acid content is obtained : 0,53%, 0,59%, 0,56%, 0,54% with average 0,55%. Analysis of water content is obtained : 5,73%, 5,69%, 5,78%, 5,58% with average 5,69%. While the analysis of dirt content is obtained: 5,60%, 5,70%, 6,10%, 5,80% with average 5,80%. Analysis result show that the core production quality in pal oil mill PTPN III PKS Kebun Rambutan has been in accordance with quality standars set by the company
     
    Telah dilakukan analisa mutu inti produksi (palm kernel) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB), kadar air dan kadar kotoran dalam inti produksi dan untuk mengetahui apakah inti produksi tersebut telah memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh PTPN III PKS Kebun Rambutan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah inti sawit yang diambil dari kernel storage atau gudang penimbunan. Analisa kadar asam lemak bebas dilakukan dengan cara titrasi asam basa menggunakan larutan standar KOH 0,056 N dan indikator tymol blue, cara pengeringan dioven untuk analisa kadar air, dan untuk analisa kadar kotoran ditentukan dengan cara menimbang hasil jumlah kotoran yang terdapat pada inti sawit. Dari hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan, maka diperoleh kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) yaitu: 0,53%, 0,59%, 0,56%, 0,54% dengan rata- rata 0,55%. Analisa kadar air yaitu: 5,73%, 5,69%, 5,78%, 5,58%, dengan rata-rata 5,69%. Sedangkan analisa kadar kotoran yaitu: 5,60%, 5,70%, 6,10%, 5,80% dengan rata- rata 5,80%. Hasil analisa menunjukan bahwa mutu inti produksi diPabrik Kelapa Sawit PTPN III PKS Kebun Rambutan telah sesuai dengan standar mutu yang ditetapkan oleh pihak perusahaan.
