    Sistem Pendeteksi Partikel Udara PM 2.5 pada Modul Komunikasi Lora

    Abstract
    Air pollution is a problem that is always faced by people all over the world where the air pollution is caused by various activities susch as transportation and industry, air pollution, especially the PM2.5, namely air particles that only have a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers have caused so many respiratory disorders and other diseases for human in the world. This study aims to design a tool that can be used to monitor PM2.5 airborne particle levels in several place in the city of Medan, this tool will be equipped with LoRa technology so that the data distance will be further. This research will be use a single channel LoRa Gateway. The result show that the distance that can be reached by the node to the Lora Gateway is about 200m if the Gateway is outdorrs, while if the Gateway is indoors the distance that can be reached is only about 50m
     
    Polusi udara merupakan masalah yang selalu dihadapi masyarakat seluruh dunia dimana polusi udara tersebut disebabkan oleh berbagai kegiatan seperti transportasi dan industri, polusi udara terutama PM2.5 yaitu partikel udara yang hanya memiliki diameter kurang dari 2.5 mikrometer telah banyak meneybabkan berbbagai gangguan pernapasan serta penyakit lainnya pada masyarakat dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah alat yang dapat memonitoring kadar partikel udara PM2.5 pada beberapa tempat di kota Medan yang dimana alat ini akan dilengkapi dengan teknologi LoRa sehingga jaak pengiriman data akan menjadi lebih jauh. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan LoRa Gateway single channel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jarak yang dapat dicapai oleh node menuju LoRa Gateway adalah sekitar 200m jika Gateway berada pada luar ruangan sedangkan jika Gateway ada di dalam ruangan jarak yang dapat dicapai hanya sekitar 50m.
