Pengaruh Pemaparan Asap Rokok Herbal dan Asap Rokok Mild terhadap Mikrostruktur Hati Mencit (Mus musculus L.)

Abstract

Effect Of Exposure On Herbal Cigarette Smoke and Mild Cigarette Smoke Of Microstructure Mice Liver (Mus musculus L.) has been researched lasting from May 2012 to November 2012, in Laboratory of Animal Structure, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, North Sumatera University, Medan. This research used complete random sampling consisting of three group, i.e.,: group without treatment (K), group of herbal cigarette smoke (PA), and treatment of mild cigarette smoke (PB). Each group consisted of nine experiment animals and cigarette smoke exposure as much as 3 cigarette for 15 minutes, was conducted for 14 days. Observations on liver morphology PA and PB showed pale and mottled, but the controls were also found pale liver morphology. The statistical result of the normal form the cell damage and necrosis of hepatocytes, on treatment group PA showed significant difference in comparison with K and PB (p<0,05). With average, level of liver damage was highest in PA is 187,04 and the lowest at 70,15 in the control. However, the observation forms the nucleus are circle, cloudy swelling, and core wrinkled, the treatment group between PA and K were significant (p<0,05) but PB not significant with K (p>0,05). With the highest average level of PA is 76,89 and the lowest one was in K, 51,26. From the result of this analysis it could be then concluded that exposure of smoke cigarette affected the microstructure of liver

Penelitian mengenai Pengaruh Pemaparan Asap Rokok Herbal Dan Asap Rokok Mild Terhadap Mikrostruktur Hati Mencit (Mus musculus L.) telah dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2012 sampai November 2012 di Laboratorium Struktur Hewan, Departemen Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri 3 perlakuan yaitu perlakuan kontrol (K), perlakuan asap rokok herbal (PA), dan perlakuan asap rokok mild (PB). Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas 9 ekor hewan uji dan diberi pemaparan asap rokok sebanyak 3 batang rokok selama 15 menit, dilakukan selama 14 hari. Hasil pengamatan morfologi hati pada PA dan PB menunjukkan warna pucat dan berbintik, namun pada kontrol juga didapati morfologi hati berwarna pucat. Pada hasil analisis statistik terhadap kerusakan sel hepatosit berupa nekrosis, menunjukkan perbedaan nyata antara kelompok perlakuan PA bila dibandingkan dengan K dan PB (p<0,05). Nilai rata-rata kerusakan hati tertinggi pada PA yaitu 187,04 dan terendah pada kontrol yaitu 70,15. Namun pada pengamatan bentuk inti sel yaitu inti berbentuk bulat, inti bengkak keruh (Cloudy Swelling), dan inti berkerut, pada kelompok perlakuan PA dan K berbeda nyata (p<0,05) namun kelompok PB tidak berbeda nyata dengan K (p>0,05). Nilai rata-rata tertinggi pada PA yaitu 76,89 dan terendah pada K yaitu 51,26. Hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemaparan asap rokok mempengaruhi mikrostruktur hati.
