| dc.description.abstract | Sales and inventory are the most important thing in business activities in
the field of fashion business. From the activities of sales and inventory, create a
recording to find out an information of business activities that are being done to
produce a useful report. By using the information technology, can be designed an
useful system of information to facilitate the activities of sales and inventory in a
business.
This study aims to find out (1) The running system of sales and inventory
system at Gaya Fashion Shop in Medan (2) The advantages of sales information
system design and inventory at Gaya Fashion Shop in Medan (3) Output result
from sales information system and inventory of computer-based goods that have
been designed for Fashion Style Stores in Medan.
In this research the method used is qualitative research method with
descriptive approach because researchers want to analyze the system of sales and
inventory that is running on Fashion Styles and give suggestion system of sale and
inventory of computer based that can process sales data and inventory data of
goods.
From the results of research, that Gaya Fashion Shop all this time still use
the manual recording system, where manual recording often occurs error and
also the process of recording takes a long time, therefore with the design of sales
and inventory based on computer can be simplify Gaya Fashion Shop in
recording and process the data in the input to generate useful reports in decision
