Analysis Of Lesbianism In The Movie Below Her Mouth

Abstract

This thesis entitled ANALYSIS OF LESBIANISM IN THE MOVIE “BELOW HER MOUTH". This thesis explains about the causes and effects of lesbianism which found in the movie Below Her Mouth by Stephanie Fabrizi. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the causes of lesbianism experienced by the two main characters and the effects of lesbianism experienced by the two main characters. This thesis uses Agustina's theory to analyze the causes and effects of lesbianism in a movie. In analyzing this thesis, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method that presents all data in the form of words and sentences and uses library research as a way to collect data by watching and selecting quotations from the movie Below Her Mouth. From this movie, it is found that the two main characters in the movie experienced four causes of lesbianism which are looking masculine, looking feminine, Environmental Influences and Disappointment.
