    Pengaruh Pemberian Probiotik dengan Konsentrasi yang Berbeda terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan dan Sintasan Larva Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei)

    Abstract
    This research was conducted to determine the effect of probiotics with different concentrations on the growth rate and survival rate of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vanamei) larvae in the Shrimp Cultivation and Breeding of the Marine Group of Windu Alur Cempedak Pangkalan Susu, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra from February to March 2022. The shrimp culture faces problems related to the disease, the mass mortality, the slow growth, and the environmental factors. To overcome the problems, one alternative way can be was addition of probiotics in their feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of probiotics with different concentrations on the growth rate and survival vaname larvae and to determine the water quality in vaname shrimp cultivation. The study used vaname shrimp larvae in Post Larva 10 phase which was ten days old. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, which were P1 (Control), P2 (Probiotic 0.1 g), P3 (Probiotic 0.3 g), and P4 (Probiotic 0.5 g). The observation parameters were the measurement of the length and weight vaname shrimp larvae, the survival rate (SR), the feed conversion value (FCR) and the measurement of the water quality. The probiotics dose had the most effect on increasing the growth rate was found in treatment P4 with the growth vaname shrimp larvae weight of 0.093 grams and absolute length of 1.52 cm .It was because the dose of 0.5 g was most effective in increasing the length and weight gain of vaname shrimp, as well the feed conversion ratio value of 1.30 and the survival rate of 81.66%. The water quality during the maintenance time was still in good conditions such as the temperature between 31-320C, the salinity between 16-17 ppt and the pH was 7.8-8.0. However, the DO value (7.2-7.6) increased slightly due to the present of Lactobacillus sp. in probiotics that made thewater not cloudy.
     
    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan sintasan larva udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) yang dilakukan di Budidaya dan Pembibitan Udang Kelompok Bahari Windu Alur Cempedak Pangkalan Susu, Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara pada bulan Februari sampai Maret 2022. Budidaya udang menghadapi masalah yang terkait dengan penyakit, pertumbuhan lambat, dan faktor lingkungan. Salah satu cara alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan penambahan probiotik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan sintasan pada larva udang vaname serta mengetahui kualitas air yang baik dalam pembudidayaan udang vaname. Penelitian menggunakan larva udang vaname fase Post Larva 10 yang berumur sepuluh hari. Metode yang digunakan ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, sebagai berikut: P1 (Kontrol), P2 (Probiotik 0.1 g), P3 (Probiotik0.3 g), P4 (Probiotik 0.5 g). Parameter pengamatan ialah pengukuran panjang dan berat larva udang vaname, sintasan (SR), nilai konfersi pakan (FCR) serta pengukuran kualitas air. Dosis pemberian probiotik yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan laju pertumbuhan terdapat pada perlakuan P4 dengan pertumbuhan berat larva udang vaname sebesar 0.093 gram dan panjang mutlak 1,52 cm karena pada penelitian ini dosis 0.5 g paling efektif dalam meningkatkan pertambahan panjang dan berat udang vaname, serta nilai rasio konversi pakan sebesar 1,30 dan sintasan sebesar 81.66%. Kualitas air pada media pemeliharaan selama penelitian masih dalam kategori stabil seperti Suhu antara 31-32oC, Salinitas antara 16-17 ppt dan pH antara 7.8-8.0. Namun nilai DO antara 7.2-7.6 mengalami sedikit meningkat karena adanya bakteri Lactobacillus sp. dalam probiotik yang dapat menjaga kualitas air sehingga tidak keruh.
