Analisis Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Perbankan
Abstract
Human resources in an organization are the key to achieving organizational goals. PT. Bank X is one of the state-owned companies (State-Owned Enterprises) which engages in the banking sector. Based on the observations and interviews results during a 5-month internship at PT. Bank X, various problems arise related to employee performance in banking. These problems arise due to the behavior of some employees who do not reflect the values of the organizational culture that exist in the company and the work environment that does not match the expectations of employees. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of organizational culture and work environment on the employees' performance in banking. The sampling technique was saturated sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire which was distributed to 33 employees at the Imam Bonjol branch office. The data obtained were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, organizational culture and work environment together have a significant effect on employee performance in banking with a contribution value of 66.7%, while the remaining 33.3% is influenced by other factors. Individually, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee's performance with a contribution value of 38.68%. Meanwhile, work environment has a positive and significant impact on employee's performance in banking with a contribution value of 15.76%. Sumber daya manusia di dalam sebuah organisasi menjadi kunci tercapainya tujuan organisasi. PT. Bank X merupakan salah satu perusahaan BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara) yang bergerak di bidang perbankan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara selama magang 5 bulan di PT. Bank X, berbagai permasalahan muncul terkait kinerja karyawan di perbankan. Permasalahan tersebut muncul akibat terdapat perilaku beberapa karyawan yang belum mencerminkan nilai-nilai budaya organisasi yang ada di perusahaan dan lingkungan kerja yang tidak sesuai harapan karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di perbankan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 33 karyawan di kantor area medan imam bonjol. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di perbankan dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 66,7%. Sisanya sebesar 33,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Secara individual, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 38,68%. Sedangkan, variabel lingkungan kerja secara individual berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di perbankan dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 15,76%.
