    Abstract
    A rice cooker is a rice cooker used by housewives to simplify and shorten the cooking time of rice. This electronic device has been designed and implemented which has 2 functions, namely cooking (cook) and heating (warm). There are also those that use time and temperature settings that can be adjusted during cooking. Utilization of scientific advances and innovations in daily life. One of them is that the temperature of the rice cooker when heating the rice is generally not equal to the setting of the amount of rice, thus making the rice dry quickly. As a result, the temperature remains high. During the sampling process, the rice cooker utilizes a Type K Thermocouple sensor as a potential temperature or temperature at the level of cooked rice inside. If there is a different temperature then this sensor is monitoring by ordering the Atmega 328 to operate. Atmega 328 is an Atmel microcontroller which has a RISC (Reduce Instruction Set Computer) design where every information execution process is faster than the CISC (Completed Instruction Set Computer) engineering. This microcontroller acts as a data processor sent by sensors to control the entire system. The processed data will be displayed on the LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) whose temperature value is detected by the thermocouple sensor. The LCD screen (Liquid Cristal Display) will display the initial temperature value display until the rice is cooked on the LCD screen. Some time later will display the temperature measured according to the level of heat of the food
     
    Rice cooker merupakan alat penanak nasi yang digunakan para ibu rumah tangga untuk mempermudah dan mempersingkat waktu memasak nasi. Telah dirancang dan diimplementasikan sebuah alat elektronik ini yang memiliki 2 fungsi yaitu memasak (cook) dan memanaskan (warm). Ada juga yang menggunakan pengaturan waktu dan suhu yang bisa diatur selama memasak. Pemanfaatan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan inovasi dalam kehiupan sehari-hari. Salah satunya adalah suhu penanak nasi saat menghangatkan nasi umumnya tidak setara dengan pengaturan jumlah nasi, sehingga membuat nasi cepat kering. Akibatnya suhu yang tetap tinggi. Saat proses pengambilan sampel, rice cooker memanfaatkan sensor Thermocouple Type K sebagai potensi suhu atau temperatur pada tingkat kematangan nasi didalam. Apabila ada suhu yang berbeda maka sensor inilah yang memonitoring dengan memerintahkan Atmega 328 untuk beroperasi. Atmega 328 adalah mikrokontroller hasil atmel yang memiliki desain RISC (Reduce Intruction Set Computer) dimana setiap proses eksekusi informasi lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan rekayasa CISC (Completed Instruction Set Computer). Mikrokontroller ini sebagai pengolah data yang dikirim sensor untuk mengendalikan seluruh sistem. Data yang sudah diproses akan ditampilkan di LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) yang nilai suhunya dideteksi oleh sensor thermocouple. Dilayar LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) akan tertampil tampilan nilai suhu awal hingga nasi sampai matang pada layar LCD. Beberapa waktu kemudian akan tertampil temperatur yang diukur sesuai tingkat kepanasan makanan.
