Kombinasi Vigenere Cipher dengan Caesar Cipher dalam Three Pass Protocol

Abstract

In this study the authors combine the algorithrn Vigenere with Caesar Cipher in the concept of three-pass protocol for message security more secure confidentiality for her. Method of three-pass protocol is a method in which the process of sending a message does not need to share the encryption key, so that each party both sender ard receiver do not need to know the key messages of each. There are four combinations of algorithms with Caesar Vigenire that I researched the concept of three-pass protocol. The Jirst combination Vigenere with Vigendre, a comblnation of both Caesar with Caesar, Vigenire third combination with a combination of Caesar and Caesar fourth with Vigenere. Of the four combinations will be determined the safest combination The results of the combination of the most secure and can be used in sending the message that is a combination of the first in which the sender uses Vigenere Cipher algorithm for encryption and decryption and the recipient also uses Vigenere cipher algorithm for encrption and descryption process.

Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengkombinasikan algoritna Vigenere dengan Caesar Cipher dalam konsep three pass protocol agar keamanan pesan lebih terjaga kerahasiaannya. Metode three pass protocol merupakan suatu metode dimana dalan proses pengiriman pesan tidak perlu berbagi kunci enkripsinya sehingga masing-masing pihak baik penerima dan pengirim pesan tidak perlu mengetahui kunci masing-masing. Ada empat kombinasi algoritna Vigenere dangan, Caesar yang penulis teliti dalam konsep three pass protocol. Kombinasi pertama Vigenere dengan Vigenere, kombinasi keempat Caesar dengan Caesar, kombinasi ketiga Vigenere dengan Caesar dan kombinasi keempat Caesar dengm Vigenere. Dari empat kombinasi ini akan ditentukan kombinasi yang paling aman. Hasil kombinasi yang paling aman dan dapat digunakan dalam pengiriman pesan yaitu kombinasi yang pertama dimana pengirim menggunakan algoritna Vigenere Cipher untuk proses enkripsi dan dekripsi dan penerima pesan juga menggunakan algoritma Vigenere cipher untuk proses enkripsi dan dekripsi.
