Peranan Bedah Sinus Endoskopik Fungsional (BSEF) terhadap Perbaikan Fungsi Penghidu pada Penderita Rinosinusitis Kronik tanpa Polip dengan Menggunakan Sniffin' Sticks Test

Abstract

lntroduction: Olfactory disorders is one of the symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis. Seeing a large number of sufferers of rinosinusitis polyps are done without the action Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and yet the presence of olfactory disorders data before and after the surgery makes researchers interested in researching olfactory disorders in people with chronic rhinosinusitis without polyps before and after surgery using Sniffin' sticks test. Objective: To know the role of olfactory function improvement against the FESS in people with chronic rhinosinusitis without polyps. Methods: The study was conducted purely experimental by using one group pre-post test design. The measurement of the value of the thresholds, discrimination and identification (TDI) done before the FESS and 2 weeks and 4 weeks after the FESS based on assessment of Sniffin ' sticks test. Results: the mean value of the TDI before the FESS 19,43 t 7.32 (hyposmia), 2 weeks after the FESS 26,9 t 5,78 (hyposmia), and 4 weeks after the FESS 33,25 t 3,86 (normosmia). There is a role for olfactory function improvement against the FESS in people with chronic rhinosinusitis without polyps. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the mean values of the thresholds, discrimination, identification, otfactory function (TDl) in people with rhinosinusitis without polyps before FESS, 2 weeks and 4 weeks after the FESS.

Pendahuluan: Gangguan penghidu merupakan sarah satu gejara rinosinusitis kronik. Melihat banyaknya jumlah penderita rinosinusitis tanpa polip yang dilakukan tindakan Bedah sinus Endoskopi Fungsionar (BSEF) serta berum adanya data gangguan penghidu sebelum dan sesudah operasi membuat peneliti tertarik meneliti gangguan penghidu pada penderita rinosinusitis kronis tanpa polip sebelum dan sesudah operasi dengan menggunakan Sniffin,Sticks test Tujuan: Mengetahui peran BSEF terhadap perbaikan fungsi penghidu pada penderita rinosinusitis kronik tanpa polip. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan bersifat experimental dengan menggunakan one group pre-post test design. Pengukuran nilai Ambang, Diskriminasi dan ldenffikasi (ADI) dilakukan sebelum BSEF dan 2 minggu serta 4 minggu sesudah ESEF berdasarkan penilaian Sniffin' Sticks Test. Hasil: Nilai rerata ADI sebelum BSEF 19,43+-,32 (hiposmia), 2 minggu sesudah BSEF 26,9+-5,78 (hiposmia), dan 4 minggu sesudah BSEF 33,25+-3,86 (normosmia). Ada peran BSEF terhadap perbaikan fungsi penghidu pada penderita rinosinusitis kronik tanpa polip. Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan signifikan nirai rerata ambang, diskriminasi, identifikasi, fungsi penghidu (ADl) pada penderitra rinosinusitis tanpa polip sebelum BSEF, 2 minggu dan 4 minggu sesudah BSEF.
