An analysis of total nitrogen content and chemical oxygen demand (COD) has been carried out on samples of wastewater using UV-Visible spectrophotometry method. Determination of total nitrogen content is the amount or overall level of nitrogen contained in liquid waste or samples and chemical oxygen demand (COD) describes the total amount of oxygen needed to chemically oxidize organic materials or those that are difficult to degrade into carbon dioxide and water in liquid waste. From the results of the analysis obtained the total nitrogen content in the liquid waste samples with sample codes 120/LC/02/2022, 121/LC/02/2022, 122/LC/02/2022, 123/LC/02/2022, 124/LC/ 02/2022 respectively were 228.46 mg/L; 572.89 mg/L; 148.50 mg/L; 957.29 mg/L; 259.59 mg/L. Samples with these codes do not meet quality standards. Result of chemical oxygen demand (COD) analysis on liquid waste samples with sample codes 164/LC/02/2022, 165/LC/02/2022, 166/LC/02/2022, 182/LC/03/2022, 184/LC /03/2022 respectively were 208.36 mg/L; 461.67 mg/L; 802.79 mg/L; 0.73 mg/L; 0.79 mg/L. The samples with codes 164/LC/02/2022, 182/LC/03/2022 and 184/LC/03/2022 have met the quality standards, while the samples coded are 165/LC/02/2022 and 166/LC/02/2022 does not meet the quality standards set by the government.
