| dc.description.abstract | Research has been conducted to analyze the content of dirt, water, and free fatty acids in Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT PP London Sumatra Begerpang. In the analysis of dirt content and water content using the gravimetric method, which is a quantitative analysis method carried out by measuring the weight of components in a pure state after going through the separation process, while for the analysis of free fatty acid levels using the titrimetric method, namely the titrimetric method. From the measurement results, calculations were then carried out on the sample for the first day to the third day, so that the results were obtained for the analysis of dirt levels, namely 0,09%; 0,08%; and 0,06%, for water content analysis, which is 0,14%; 0,13%; and 0,11%, and for the analysis of free fatty acid levels, which is 0,34%; 0,32%; and 0,28%. In accordance with SNI 01-2901-2006 concerning Crude Palm Oil, the quality standard value of crude palm oil for impurity content, water content, and free fatty acid content < 0,5%. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the CPO has met the quality standards for impurity content, water content, and free fatty acid content. | en_US |
