dc.description.abstract | Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is crude palm oil obtained from the extraction oj the flesh
(Mesocwp) a/the oil pafmJrllit (Elaeis guilleensis). Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content
and water co1ltellt are qualify parameters that can affect the quality of cpo. The
purpose of this scientific lVork is 10 determine the levels of Free Fatty Acid (FFA)
and water content ill CPO samples al BC-POM PT. PP. Londoll Sumatra Indonesia,
Tbk. The method llsed is the acid-base litration method for determining the levels of
FF A and the open oven method for determining rhe waleI' content. The reslIlts of the
analysis afthe CPO samples at BG-POM PT.PP. Lolldoll Sumatra indonesia, Tbkfor
5 days obtained FFA levels as/allows 3.21 %, 3.28%, 2.97%, 2.53%, 2.80% and for
the water content, namely 0.20%, 0.24%, 0.20%, 0.21 %, 0.20%. Based 011 the data
that has beell obtained, it can be concluded that the quality of Crude Palm Oil
(CPO) 011 the 4,5 alld 7 February have met the stalldards set ill BG-POM
PT.PP.Lolldoll Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk with FFA cOlltellt 3.00% alld moisture
