Prevalensi Otitis Eksterna di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Background: Otitis Externa developed throughout the world, the exact prevalence rate is still unknown, but an estimated 10% of world population suffer from external otitis. According to Osguthorpe, prevalence of otitis externa is about 3-5% of the world's population. Until now the data on prevalence of otitis externa in North Sumatera still undetermined so that the data on epideomology is necessary to determine the strategy of prevention and management in accordance with the characteristics of the patient.
