Analisis Nilai Tambah Melinjo (Gnetum Gnemon, L.) Pekarangan Rumah dan Strategi Pengembangan Industri Rumahan Pengolahan Emping Melinjo di Desa Pulau Sejuk Kecamatan Datuk Limapuluh Kabupaten Batu Bara

Abstract

This research aims to find out the amount of added value obtained by melinjo yard into melinjo emping and to find out strategies for the development of the melinjo chips home industry in Pulau Sejuk Village, Datuk Limapuluh District, Batu Bara Regency. The location of the study was determined deliberately. The sample used is the owner of the melinjo chips processing cottage industry in Pulau Sejuk Village, Datuk Limapuluh district, Batu Bara Regency with as many as 12 people and determined using the saturated sample method. The data analysis methods used are Hayami method value-added analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the amount of added value obtained by Melinjo home yards into Melinjo Chips was Rp. 7,546.3 with an added value ratio of 39.6%. The strategy for the development of the cottage industry of Melinjo chips processing is an aggressive strategy and the S-O (strength-opportunities) strategy is a strategy to increase strength by utilizing existing opportunities.
