The increase in the number of positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia has caused the face-to-face learning process at schools to be changed to online learning. This change in the educational process certainly affects student learning outcomes more or less, because it involves mastery of information technology, and the internet which must be mastered by educators and students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of online learning on the learning outcomes of excellent science students at SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu, which was analyzed using the paired t test research method if the data was normally distributed and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test if the data was not normally distributed. The test is carried out by seeing whether there is a difference in student scores between before and after participating in online learning. If there is a difference, then there is an effect of online learning on student learning outcomes, and vice versa. The data used in this study is secondary data from the archives of excellent science student scores in semester 1 to semester 6, namely the value of Mathematics, English, Indonesian, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a research sample of 33 students. The results of the study, it was found that online learning had an effect on the learning outcomes of excellent science students at SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu for Mathematics, Indonesian, Physics and Biology subjects, while in Language subjects English and Chemistry online learning had no effect on learning outcomes because there is no difference in student learning outcomes between before and after participating in online learning.
