Gambaran Laparoskopi Sterilisasi di KB Mantap Medan Periode Januari s/d Desember 2015

Abstract

lntroduction: Laparoscopy is considered more effective and have fewer side effects compared to conventional technique. lt is undeniable that the use of laparoscopic sterilization technique is increasing in recent years. Objective: To determine the demographics of sterilization laparoscopic patients in KB MANTAP Medan in the period of January until December 2015 Methods: This study is a descriptive study with cross sectional design conducted at KB MANTAP Medan from January until December 201S. All medical records of patients who underwent laparoscopic sterilization in KB MANTAP Medan were tabulated. Data collected were parity, age, and ethnicity. Results: There were 100 patients underwent laparoscopic sterilization at KB MANTAP Medan. All were included in the study. Majority of patients who underwent laparoscopic sterilization were aged 31-35 years (51%), multigravida (58%), and Batak ethnicity (41%). Conclusions: Mostly subject with aged > 31 years, multigravida, and Batak ethinicity underwent laparoscopic sterilization.
