    Abstract
Class attendance data collection is usually done manually, so it is less efficient and less accurate in the data collection system. This tool uses the MLX90614 sensor which functions to detect temperature and RFID as student data. The temperature reading is read by the infrared photodiode and the RFID card reading is read by the PN532 module. Then the data that has been processed will be sent to a 16x2 LCD to display the temperature and name of the student accompanied by the sound of the buzzer. The working principle of this tool is that when the object is closer to the MLX90614 sensor, the temperature of the object is detected. If the temperature is <38℃, it will display on the LCD screen "stick the card" to find out the student's name and number. Meanwhile, if the temperature is >38°C, the buzzer will sound for 3 seconds. Likewise, when the card is not detected, the buzzer will sound for 3 seconds and the attendance database and body temperature are not displayed on the PC screen. In data validation, the results of the comparison test of mercury thermometer (comparison device) and MLX90614 temperature (design tool) were conducted. and measurement tool design (sensor MLX90614) 52,2°C. While the smallest % error of 0,7% was found in the 30th minute with the measurement of a comparison tool (mercury thermometer) 37,9℃ and the measurement of the design tool (sensor MLX90614) 38,2°C.
