Virtualisasi Sepatu Tenis berdasarkan Lapangan menggunakan Photogrammetry dan Virtual Reality Berbasis Web

Abstract

The lack of awareness or insight of the Indonesian people towards the importance of sports equipment, especially tennis shoes, occurs because there are still few media that discuss tennis shoes in an informative and interactive way. Virtual reality or VR is a part of informative media technology that’s been happening in public as one of the sources of entertainment and science, therefore in this study VR will be used as a platform to provide information on one of the important aspects of tennis, which is the type of shoe to use for each court. The shoe model that's shown in VR was created using photogrammetry technology which is a 3D model reconstruction based on real life objects. The system is conceptualized using the concept of a virtual museum so that users can look and move around freely in order to create an immersive experience. For every information shown in each tennis shoe has been validated by a national level tennis athlete. The program has been tested and handed out a questionnaire to 10 people in the public. From the results of the questionnaires that have been handed out in public, the value of 82.5% is acquired which means that the system is running good and is informative to users.
