Lung cancer is a malignant lung tumor characterized by uncontrolled cell
growth in the lung tissue and spreads outside the lungs through the process of
metastasis to other body tissues. In Indonesia, lung disease is a disease with the
third highest incidence. after breast cancer and cervical cancer by 10.2%.
Conventionally, lung cancer detection uses chest X-Ray (CXR) and Computed
Tomography Scan (CT-Scan) based lung images, which have weaknesses,
including expensive examinations, requiring high maintenance and energy costs
,and being operated by people with special skills. The thin nanosheet chemosensor
that is fabricated has the characteristic that the anthocyanin [-OH] in beetroot is
,amphoteric so it is very reactive to acidic or basic pH to bind formaldehyde
groups ( H2CO) which is a biomarker that causes lung cancer with certain
wavelengths by ion exchange. Graphene as a filler has an electrical conductivity
of 12. 02 Sim with a specific area of 1.44 and an electron mobility of 200,000
cm2 /Vs which can form a hexagonal electron bridge to respond to H2CO faster
which is the standard for H2CO on breath, which is 0.3-0.6 ppm (Len, 2019).
While PVA as a matrix that can form covalent fibrils with a t,ensile strength of 7.5
GPa and a density of ±1.6 g/cm3 so that it is more biocompatible. The results
obtained with variations in the concentration of formalin using various samples
such as asthmatics, diabetes, smokers and normal patients, namely asthmatics
with an average of 0.842 mV; diabetes 0.036 mV; smoker 0.028 mV and normal
.5.326 mV.
