Oscar.fish (Amphilophus citrinellus) is aforeignfish that was introduced into
the waters of Lake Toba and can be found around the waters of Lake Toba and has
the potential to be invasive. This research was carried out in the waters of Lake Toba
around Ajibata, Balige, Muara, Palipi and Tongging in January 2022. This study
aims to determine the growth pattern and condition factors of Oscar fish and the
relationship of fish density to physical and chemical factors in the waters of Lake
Toba. Detennination of research location points using the "Purposive Sampling"
method based on activities around the lake. Data analysis in.eludes growth patterns
and condition factors of Oscar fish as well as physical and chemical facto rs of the
waters. Based on the results of the research at the five stations, the growth pattern at
stations 1, 2, and 4 was allometric positive (b>3) while at stations 3 and 5 was
allometric negative (b<3). The value of the condition factor ranged.from 1.007015-
/. 025093, -with this value, the fish, including the value of K < 2, stated that the fish
body was classified as less flat. The results of the correlation test showed that there
was a very strong influence, namely temperature, turbidity, phosphate and light
intensity on the density of Oscar fish.
