Analisa Konsistensi Mutu dan Rendemen CPO (Crude Palm Oil) di Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Tamiang PT. Padang Palma Permai

Abstract

HILDA JULIA: Analysis of consistency about quality and performance CPO (Crude Palm Oil) in Tamiang factory PT. Padang Palma Permai. Under the supervision of ACHWIL PUTRA MUNIR and TAUFIK RIZALDI. In planning, implementation and controlling CPO production quality and quantity at PKS Tamiang PT. Padang Palma Permai, statistical quality control is needed by using I-MR control chart and cause-effect diagram to look for cause root of an existing problem based on free fatty acid, moisture contents, and production during April 2005, April 2006, April 2007, April 2008, and April 2009. The study indicated that the free fatty acid in April 2005 and 2009 are undercontrol and stable. The average of the free fatty acid is 3,71% and 2,90%, while in April 2006, 2007 and 2008 are not undercontrol (3,08%; 3,01% and 3,20%). Moisture contents of the CPO production in period of April 2005, 2007 and 2008 are undercontrol and stable. The average of moisture contents is 0,38%; 0,21% and 0,12%, while in period of April 2006 and 2009 are not (0,14% and 0,19%). The CPO productions in April of 2005 until 2009 were not undercontrol and unstable. Then the cause-effect diagram was made as an orientation for future improvement.
