dc.description.abstractAcute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an acute infection affecting one or more parts of the airway, ranging from the nose to the alveoli including its adnexal tissue, such as the sinuses, middle ear cavity and pleura. Some of the factors that are thought to affect the incidence of ARI are age, length of stay and nutritional status. This study aims to determine the factors of the incidence of ARI in the Special Development Institute for Children of Class I Medan. The method used in this study is the binary logistic regression method. Based on simultaneous tests obtained at least one free variable that has a simultaneous effect on the dependent variable and based on partial tests obtained variables that have a significant effect on the incidence of ARI at the Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) Class I Medan is the variable length of stayen_US
