The fast-spreading Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has an impact on almost all sectors of the economy and the tourism sector. Therefore, the government established PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) regulations throughout Indonesia, including North Sumatra as an effort to deal with Covid-19 cases. However, since the outbreak of the pandemic and the implementation of the PSBB, it is recorded in the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) report that the number of foreign tourists entering North Sumatra in 2020 has decreased compared to 2019. This final project aims to find out whether there is a significant difference in the number of foreign tourists before and post the Covid-19 pandemic in North Sumatra by using the Wilcoxon statistical test method. Wilcoxon's test was used to test the difference between two pairs of groups on an ordinal or interval scale but not normally distributed. Based on the Wilcoxon test for the data used, it was obtained that there was a significant difference between the number of foreign tourists before and after Covid-19 in North Sumatraen_US
