Comparison of the amount of palm kernel oil (PKO) produced in every kilogram
of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in one kilogram is another word for palm kernel yield. If
the amount or quantity of palm kernel yield is higher, the company will get more
income. However, if the amount of palm kernel yield is low or small, the company's
income will also decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to control the quality of the
products produced. Statistical Quality Control (Statistical Quality Control) is a problem
solving technique used to monitor, control, analyze, manage, and improve products
using statistical methods. X chart, R chart, Cp (Process Capability) and Cpk are also
used which aim to see whether the process is good and meets the product specification
standards set by the company. In this final project, it can be seen that for calculating the
yield of palm kernel oil obtained the value of ̿ = 2.73 and ̅ = 4.24 with the limit
value of the ̅ control chart obtained is BKA = 4.77 and BKB = 0.67. Then for the R
control chart, the value obtained is BKA = 8.49 and BKB = 0. With which is 0.42
and the value of -0.2994.
