dc.description.abstract | Housing planning is related to its land use. Currently, the provision of public, social and commercial facilities has become an important need. The lack of facilities has made the residents of a housing complex to travel generating CO2 emission. Housing development lasts commencing from the start of its construction up to now in which 95% of the houses have experienced various changes or renovation. All of the renovation works of the houses generated CO2 emission through the pre-construction, construction and post-construction activities. To cope with the impact of this CO2 emission, the policy of CO2 emission control was implemented based on the study of the aspects of housing plans and the and the life in Taman Johor Indah Permai I Housing Complex. The purpose of this qualitative study was to find out the knowledge about various housing plan components related to the emergence of CO2 emission. Each component was examined through an analysis by using observation, questionnaires, interviews and discussion, and area mapping. The result of the analysis of each component showed that the emergence of CO2 emission in the system of housing plans of Taman Johor Indah Permai I Housing Complex was influenced by the interrelation of respective component such as the patterns of land use, circulation system, patterns of building mass and open space. The result of analysis showed that the absence of commercial facilities in the residential areas (housing complex) had influenced the distance reached causing the emergence of increasing CO2 emission, also the development of housing units eliminating the green open space, and reducing the potential of CO2 emission reductions produced by plants. The result of that analysis revealed that the control of CO2 emission can be done by creating the policies to obtain a housing plan with low CO2 emission. The policy implemented was about the mixed use of land use, the existence of pedestrian, the houses with the foundation for storied houses, maintaining house yard, and maximizing the green open space uo to 30%. The implementation of this control policy is expected to be able to be developed in the practice of urban housing design with low CO2 emission. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Perencanaan perumahan terkait dengan penataan guna lahannya. Pengadaan fasilitas umum, sosial dan komersial menjadi kebutuhan penting di masa sekarang. Kurangnya fasilitas memaksa penghuni perumahan melakukan perjalanan yang menghasilkan emisi CO2. Perkembangan perumahan berlangsung sejak perumahan dibangun sampain dengan sekarang dimana 95 persen rumah telah melakukan berbagai perubahan. Seluruh perubahan rumah menghasilkan emisi CO2 melalui aktifitas-aktifitas; pra-kontruksi, konstruksi dan pasca-konstruksi. Untuk menanggulangi dampak emisi CO2 ini maka kebijakan pengendalian emisi CO2 dilakukan dengan memperlajari aspek penataan perumahan dan kehidupan di Perumahan Taman Johor Indah Permai I. Penelitian dengan metode kualitatif dilakuakan untuk mendapat pengetahuan tentang berbagai komponen penataan perumahan yang berhubungan dengan timbulan emisi CO2. Setiap komponen diteliti melalui analisa dengan menggunakan observasi, kuisioner, wawancara dan diskusi, serta pemetaan kawasan. Dari analisa setiap komponen diperoleh bahwa timbulan emisi CO2 dalam sistem penataan perumahan Taman Johor Indah Permai I dipengaruhi oleh hubungan setiap komponen yaitu pola tata guna lahan dan sistem sirkulasi serta pola massa bangunan dan ruang terbuka. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya fasilitas komersial di dalam kawasan perumahan mempengaruhi jarak capai yang menimbulkan emisi CO2 semakin besar, juga pengembangan unit rumah yang menghilangkan ruang terbuka hijau dan mengurangi potensi reduksi emisi CO2 yang dilakukan oleh tumbuhan. Dari hasil analisa tersebut, pengendalian emisi CO2 dapat dilakukan dengan menciptakan kebijakan-kebijakan untuk mencapai penataan perumahan rendah emisi CO2. Kebijakan yang dilakukan; tata guna lahan yang mixed use, keberadaan pedestrian, rumah dengan pondasi untuk tumbuh vertical, mempertahankan halaman rumah, dan memaksimalkan ruang terbuka hijau hingga 30%. Implementasi dari kebijakan pengendalian ini diharapkan dapat dikembangkan dalam praktek perancangan perumahan perkotaan rendah emisi CO2. | en_US |
