Kontribusi Pemanfaatan Hutan Kemasyarakatan Terhadap Pendapatan Kelompok Tani Hutan di Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat

Abstract

Community Forest is a state forest that is used to empower communities in and around forest areas. The needs of the community are increasing day by day, and usingthe use of Community Forest land has begun to become one of the focuses of the community to be developed. This study aims: (1) to identify the characteristics of KTH members, (2) to determine the income of KTH members, (3) to analyze the contribution of the IUPHKm program to the welfare of KTH members, (4) to analyze the factors that affect the income of the community members of KTH. Collecting data through interviews with forest farmer groups Dos Ukur Mersada and Pemuda Tani. The selection of respondents used a saturated sampling method and obtained the number of respondents as many as 63 people. The results showed that the characteristics of the community in the HKm program at KTH Dos Ukur Mersada were dominated by people aged 26-55 years with a percentage of 96%, with a high school graduate education level of 44%, with the Pakpak tribe at 100% and arable land area ranging from 0.1 – 1 Ha is 72% and at KTH Pemuda Tani is dominated by people aged 26 – 55 years with a percentage of 97.37%, with a high school graduate education level of 60.52%, with the Pakpak tribe of 92.10% and the area of arable land ranges from 0.1 – 1 Ha by 52.63%. The average income of community farmers who are members of KTH Dos Ukur Mersada is Rp. 23,379,200, while the average income of community farmers who are members of KTH Pemuda Tani is Rp. 22,213,789.47. The contribution of the IUPHKm program to the income of KTH Dos Ukur Mersada members is 7.73% and the contribution to members of KTH Pemuda Tani is 1.13%. The variable that has a significant effect on the income of farmers belonging to KTH Dos Ukur Mersada and KTH Pemuda Tani is the variable area of arable land.
