dc.description.abstractCoronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause respiratory tract infections, ranging from the common cold to serious illnesses such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Steps that can be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are: complying with health protocols by wearing masks; washing hands; coughing and sneezing on the elbows; prohibiting public gatherings; avoiding crowded spaces; keeping a distance from other people; and cleaning and sanitizing objects and surfaces. technology Early protection is needed to help reduce the spread of the virus during this pandemic. has been made into a hand sanitizer using solar power. The purpose of making this tool is to determine the design, working principle, and optimal distance of temperature measurement and compare it with conventional temperature sensors. The working principle is that when the HCSR-04 proximity sensor detects an object below 8 cm, the MLX90614 temperature sensor will detect the object's temperature and display the temperature reading on the LCD. If the temperature is below 37.5 oC, the hand sanitizer will spray automatically and the number of visitors will increase by 1. If the temperature is above 37.5 oC, the hand sanitizer will not spray and the number of visitors will not increase. The sensor will not detect the temperature if the object distance is below 8 cm. The test results show that the tool is accurate, with an average error of 0.38% for the MLX90614 temperature sensor and 2.21% for the HCSR-04 sensor.en_US
