    Abstract
Solar power is energy that is taken and captured from sunlight and solar heat, solar electricity can be utilized by using a series of technologies such as solar photovoltaics with a simple concept, namely by capturing sunlight and then converting it into an electrical energy which is a natural resource, does not require fuel and is very environmentally friendly. The purpose of this project is to carry out and know the mechanical design in the tool mechanism "Design and Build Energy-Saving Solar Power Tools With Entertainment Media Radios". To do and know how to design a tool and build into an electronic network consisting of solar panels, solar charger controller (SCC), battery / battery, inverter, and radio. To carry out and find out the analysis of the test results of the tool, a series was made in this project, namely when the solar panels are exposed to the sun, it will be converted into an electrical energy that is regulated through the solar charger controller and stored through the battery and then flowed to the inverter to convert DC current into AC so that it can turn on the radio to capture signals that use AC electricity. The test was made with a plywood container to build this circuit. The method used is a series and parallel method where data is sent through two cables, from this stage solar panel voltage testing produces an average of 12.9V for 3 hours using a multimeter with a percent error of 0.31%. Testing using radio loads was carried out for 2 hours the output voltage starting at 12.2 V dropped to 8.50 V so that if the voltage showed anka 8.50 V then the solar charger controller would protect and recharge. From the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the wider the solar panels, the smaller the efficiency produced
