    Abstract
    This paper titled A Desciption Of The Main Characters’ Conflicts in Mitch Albom’s Novel The Timekeeper. The issues discussed in this work paper is, what is the conflict that happened to the main character in The Timekeeper novel by Mitch Albom.The purpose of this study is to describe the conflict that occurred in the main character in the novel The Timekeeper by Mitch Albom.The method used in this work paper is qualitative research method. The material object of this work paper is The Timekeeper's novel, by Mitch Albom. The formal object includes the conflict that occurred in the main character in the novel The Timekeeper by Mitch Albom. The source of this work paper data is the novel The Timekeeper by Mitch Albom. The data in this study are words, clauses, sentences, sequences of events in the novel The Timekeeper. Technique of collecting data in this work paper is library technique, by reading novel, collecting data and searching information from internet then data collected, sorted, and summarized. Data processing techniques through five stages, data descriptions, data classification, data analysis, data interpretation, and conclusions.The conclusion of this work paper is to tell about the inventor of the world's first clock is punished for trying to measure God's greatest gift. His name is Dor. He banished to a cave for centuries and forced to listen to the voices of all who come after him seeking more days, more years. Eventually, with his soul nearly broken, Father Time is granted his freedom, along with a magical hourglass and a mission: a chance to redeem himself by teaching two earthly people the true meaning of time.He returns to our world - now dominated by the hour-counting he so innocently began - and commences a journey with two unlikely partners: one a teenage girl, Sarah, who is about to give up on life and the other a wealthy old businessman, Victor, who wants to live forever. To save himself, he must save them both. And stop the world to do so.
