    Abstract
Mangroves play an important role in maintaining soil fertility in the coastal area, one of the functions of mangrove forest products to maintain soil fertility derived from the litter. Litter decomposition that have contributed to the organic material which is a source of food for various species of fish and other organisms in the mangrove ecosystem. The process of decomposition can be affected by salinity, in addition to producing organic matter, litter also releases nutrients needed by plants along the coastal area. This study aims to determine the effect of salinity on leaf litter decomposition rates of A. marina at different levels of salinity, nutrient content of determining the availability of carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) contained in the leaf litter of A. marina which decompose at different levels of salinity and know the effect of fungi Aspergillus sp on leaf litter decomposition rates of A. marina. The results showed that leaf litter of A. marina at the level of salinity> 20-30 ppt decomposed faster than the rate of salinity <20-30 ppt. The average weight of remaining leaf litter of A. marina which decompose at 00-10 ppt salinity level that is 10.0 grams, 10-20 ppt is 11.1 grams, 9.1 grams and 20-30 ppt. A. The rate of leaf litter decomposition marina at the level of salinity 00-10 ppt yait 0.46 grams, 10-20 ppt salinity level that is 0.43 grams, 20-30 ppt salinity level is 0.48 grams. Nutrient content of leaf litter C A. marina is at the level of 42.32% salinity 00-10 ppt, 10-20 ppt which is 47.04%, and 20-30 ppt is 42.65%. N nutrients on leaf litter of A. marina is at the level of 1.02% salinity 00-10 ppt, 10-20 ppt is 1.24%, and 20-30 ppt is 1.44% and leaf litter nutrient P A. marina at 0.07% salinity 00-10 ppt, 10-20 ppt is 0.09%, and 20-30 ppt is 0.09%.
