Analisis Komparatif Unsur Kepahlawanan Cerita Rakyat Aji Saka dan Momotaro

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe all the Indonesian 's heroism elements and Japnese 's heroism elements that are found in Aji saka a folklore of legend and Momotaro a folklore of fairy tale. This research have also the purpose to describe the similarities and the differences of the heroism elements from both folklore. This research is using a descriptive qualitative methodological research with content analysis, comparative literature approach, and also using library research. The main source which are used in this research are a books entiteled Legenda Cerita rakyat Nusantara and entitled Dongeng Klasik Jepang. The data on this research are words or sentences that indicates the heroism elements. The data analysis was done in three steps; collecting the data, then make a reduction of the data and last to classify the data which are related to the heroism elements. From the result of this research after comparing the similarities and differences of the heroism elements, the heroism elements of bravery is the dominant found in both folklore Aji saka from Indonesia and Momotaro from Japan, the second dominant is the heroism elements of willing to sacrifice from Aji saka folklore and the third dominant of heroism elements is the elements of good name and honor from Momotaro folklore.
