dc.description.abstractMARADONA TARIGAN: Performance Tes the Compost Molder of Various Compost form Using Different Kind of adhesive material, supervised by TAUFIK RIZALDI and SAIPUL B. DAULAY. Compost usage has still many problems such as ample doses. That makes dispersion difficult, needs wider space of storage, relatively low storageability and less attractive. The aim of this research was to make more attractive compost using several kind and doses of adhesive material. This research was conducted in Januaryy up toMay 2010 using the complete randomized design with 2 factors: i.e. the kind of adhesive material (blood flour, stracth, bone flour) and the doses of adhesive (20%, 25%, 30%). Parameters observed were the effective capacity of device, the percentage of broken result, the melting time of compost, economic analysis, a break event point, net present value and internal rate of return. The results showed that the kind of adhesive material had significantly affected the capacity of material, the capacity of result, compost melting time and had not significantly affected the broken result. The doses of adhesive had not significantly affected the material capacity, the broken result, compost melting time, and gived a significant effect on the capacity of result.The interaction of treatment had not significantly affected the capacity of the material, the capacity of result,and the percentage of damage result. The best result are the combination of stracth with 30% adhesive.en_US
