Analisis Kualitas Air dan Beban Pencemaran di Danau Pondok Lapan Kecamatan Salapian Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Lake Pondok Lapan is an artificial lake located in the hamlet Pulka District of Salapian Langkat. Lake Pondok Lapan nestled among palm plantations. The lake was originally made for irrigation or agricultural irrigation. However, the surrounding communities do not have the will to farm, they prefer to gardening such as palm oil and rubber. The research focused on water quality and pollution load. This study was conducted in January-March 2015. Water sampling is done by using a similar tool Van Dorn Water Sampler. Samples of water taken to Balai Teknik Kesehatan Lingkungan dan Pengendalian Penyakit (BTKLPP) kelas 1 to be analyzed. The study produced by the water quality status with storet method based on the quality standard of Grade I and II, with a value of -17 and 0. Status of water quality with pollution index method based on the class I and II, with a value of 1.024 and 0.617. Pollution load capacity that can get into the waters of Lake cottage Lapan amounted to 1,984 Pa kg / m3.
