    Abstract
    The objective of this study is to describe the types of slang words found in Niki‟s selected song lyrics. The theory used in this paper is the slang theory by Eric Partridge in the book Slang: Today and Yesterday. The data of this research is in the from of song lyrics from Niki‟s songs entitled Lowkey, Odds, Every Summertime, Newsflash!, and See U Never. The method used by the researcher is qualitative descriptive method. The result of the analysis found that the slang words found in this paper is house slang, workmen slang, public school and university slang, and society slang. The dominant type of slang words found in this paper is society slang.
