Activities the continuous mackerel of catch will be decreasing fish stock in
the nature. The research aims to know relationship among length weight, factor of
condition, reproductive, first size riping ovum and apex spawning of mackerel.
This research was conducted in Malacca strait Tanjung Beringin Serdang Bedagai
from March until May 2015 based on the location of fishing by fishermen divided
into three stations at a distance of 3,7 kilometers from the beach and the distance
between each station was 1,8 kilometers. Water and fish sampling was carried out
for one month. The results showed length weight equation relationship
y = 0.000007x 3.09 indicating positive allometric. Factor conditions trend
1,12 – 1,18 were classified as less flat. Sex ratio of fish was ideal conditions.
Value of IKG between female 2,87% and male 2,18% respectively. Fecundity was
30.250 – 57.240 granule. First size riping ovum is 164 – 170 mm. This suggests
that the presence of the mackerel has a apex spawning in April. The observation
of the male histology showed that TKG I was spermatogonium, TKG II
dominated by primary spermatosit, TKG III was spermatosit primer developing to
be secondary spermatosit, TKG IV was spermatozoa for impregnate nucleus.
While the female histology showed that TKG I was dominated by oogonia and
cell nucleus, TKG II dominated by oocytes are primary and secondary, TKG III
dominated by vitogenesis stage 1 and 2 oocytes, TKG IV dominated by
vitelogenesis stage 2 and 3 with developing ootid that was ready to spawn and
TKG V dominated atresi oocytes. Spawning types of mackerel is partial spawner.
