    Studi Aspek Reproduksi Ikan Baung (Mystus nemurus Cuvier Vallenciennes) di Sungai Bingai Kota Binjai Provinsi Sumatera Utara

    Abstract
    The researcher was conducted in the Bingai’s river at Binjai North Sumatera which was held in March to May 2013 at the three different locations points and using sensus metode. The total of baung’s fish (Mystus nemurus C.V) obtained was 29 tails consist of 26 females and 3 males with unbalanced sex ratio. The result of growth equation von Bertalanffy baung’s fish with asymptotic length’s value (L∞) of 383.25 mm, the growth of coefficient female baung’s fish and community with same value that is 1.5, while the growth of coefficient male baung’s fish is 0.01. Equation relationship length and weight of baung’s fish is Lt = 383.25 (1-e-01.5(t -0.13) for female fish and community, Lt = 383.25 (1-e-1.5(t -2.39)) for male fish. Factor value of female and male baung’s fish condition ranged from 0.0654 to 0.7994. Gonad maturity level of baung’s fish found I – IV, while male baung’s fish only I – III. TKG IV female fish only found with 3 tails in total of 325 – 400 mm. Female fish gonad maturation index 0.01 – 7.33 % and 0.01- 0.26 % in male fish. The first dimensions of female fish gonad mature is 268 mm. Fecundity of female baung’s fish 18229 to 44392 points. Distribution of baung’s fish eggs diameter distribute 0.38 to 2.05 mm in female. The influence of physical parameters water chemistry in Bingai’s river still support baung’s fish life. Recomandation provide of fish management is the protection of fish habitat for baung’s fish survival (Mystus nemurus C.V).
