Efektivitas Program Rawat Jalan dalam Mengatasi Ketergantungan Narkotika (Studi Kasus Klien Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Korban Penyalahgunaan Napza "Insyaf" Medan)

Abstract

Effectiveness can be defined as the social system’s level of success in achieving its target. Outpatient is a program that creates someone’s overall reaction during a certain period of time in the rehabilitation center. The social Rehabilitattion Center for NAPZA (Narcotics, Alcohol, Psychotropics, and Other Addictive Substances) Abusers in Medan functions to accommodate the recovery of drug addicts by providing outpatient rehabilitation through nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and psychosocial workers. Standard Operating Procedurs started from the estimation conducted by the medical team are used to determine the patients’ chronic level and the rehabilitation therapy method suitable for them. This is descriptive qualitative research that focuses on the effectiveness of the program at the “Insyaf” NAPZA Rehabilitation Center in Medan with the aim to recover narcotics users through the outpatient program. The results indicate that the outpatient program at the “Insyaf” rehabilitation center in Medan has been proven to be effective because all the beginning. Factors affecting the effectiveness of the “Insyaf” rehabilitation center in Medan include target achievement, client satisfaction in undergoing the program, the client’s ability to adapt to the programs provided, and the responsibilities given by the center to the beneficiary.
