    Abstract
Diabetic foot is infection, ulceration and/or destruksi inner connective tissue associated with neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease for lower extremity. The latest study reported the mortality rate was 16.70/o. This study is for searching correlation of Wagner's diabetic foot classification with lower extremity ischemia by using ankle brachial index (ABI) to the diabetic patient with analytic cross-sectional method. ABI can be used as a test for peripheral vascular compromise for diabetic foot patients. From the Papanas study shown that ABI was significantly lower of patient with microvascular complication than without microvascular complication in DM type-2 patiens. Wagner's classification is a classification system that widely used for classified ulceration of diabetic foot. The system provide ulceration grade of diabetic foot from zero li five. Function of the wagner's classification as method to classified the ulcer by depth and appeareance of gangrene, osteomyelitis and tissue necrosis. From 58 cases, 33 (56.9%) male and 25 (43.1%) female. Age Distribution rate at <50 is 21 patients (36.2%) and >50 is 37 patients (63.s%). Mean of age is 54.59 +-9.60 years old. Distribution of DM illness <5 years isl8 patients (31.0 %) and >3 years is 40 patients (69%). Patients with ABI grade 1 is I patients, grade 2 is 1g orang, grade 5 is 12 paients, and grade 4 is 11 patients , with median ABI v;ore 0.86 (min 0.24 max r.2a ). Analysis result of correlation of wagner's diabetic foot ulcer with ABI shown correlation coefficient is 0.41 with p value : 0.001, indicating moderate correlation between diabetic foot grade with ABI score for lower limb ischaemia (p<0.05)
