A Description of The Main Characters In The Movie KING’S SPEECH

Abstract

The discussion in this paper focuses to describe main characters in the movie King’s Speech. In the movie there is a crucial element in the development of the story, these elements are the main characters. The objectives of this research are as follows to describe weakness of King George VI in king’s Speech movie and to describe patience of Lionel Logue in King’s Speech movie. The writter uses a qualitative descriptive method when working on this paper. The data were obtained from main characters in The King’s Speech movie. The data source was taken from dialogue between actors in the movie. The results of this study showed that, Bertie as King George VI is as a Choleric character because she had weaknes in his live and he trains himself to cure his weakness which is stuttering and Lionel Logue is as a Phlegmatic character because she has the patience to practice bertie speaking as a bertie speech therapist. Through the scenes and scenes analyzed, the writer sees that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses.
