Aktifitas Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Melalui Program XL Future Leaders pada PT XL Axiata Medan, Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This research entitled Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr) Activities Through Program Xl Future Leaders At PT. Xl Axiata in Medan City. The purpose of this research is to know the activities of Corporate Social Responsibility through XL Future Laeders program, Reason PT XL Axiata choose education field as the leading CSR program and know what are the obstacles that happened in XL Future Leaders. The theory used in this research is Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research consists of 3 (three) informants namely Corporate Communication and 2 awardee XL Future Leaders. Data collection techniques are interviews, library research and non-participation observation. The result of the research concludes that CSR activity of PT.XL Axiata has 3 categories, XL Future Leaders Program is an annual program of scholarship which contains intervention in the form of online workshop and face to face workshop. The second one is XL Broadband Plane XL's goal is to connect 1000 schools in Indonesia through 4G XL network. The third unconditionally is a program that is formed based on what is happening in the environment at the request of a company such as relief to natural disasters. The reason PT XL Axiata chose education as the flagship program is the Government's vision in 2020 Indonesia Broadbrand Plane where the millenial children of 16 years old will be the driving force of the economy. Barriers that occur in XL Future Leaders because XL Future Leaders program youth association. Young people their ego struggles are still very high. Therefore, a facilitators must be smart to muffle it all and stream it to something more positive and every awardee XL Future Leaders want to do their activities should report to the XL Axiat.
