| dc.description.abstract | This thesis deals with lexical semanric Javanese in Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district, especially in Sampali and Saentis village, the background of this research for development Javanese and improvement linguistic science. The aim of this research is to describe: word and morpheme meaning, lexical unsure ,derivative meaning, idiomatic meaning, lexical meaning properties, lexical meaning relation, lexical meaning exchange. This study employed descriptive qualitative method, The collection of data derived from both orally and written sources. The oral data were obtained from the Javanese who live in Percut Sei Tuan Sub - district, especially in Sampali and Saentis villages, while written data were collected from several textbooks' or literature written in Javanese. The data were collected by using observation and recording techniques. The result of the research is presented by using structural semantic which describe the materials in the linguistic frame of meaning analysis theory.
