Dating violence is a threat or act of violence to one of the parties in the
dating relationship, which is intended to gain control, authority and power over
the partner. This violence can occur in the form of verbal/emotional violence,
physical violence and sexual violence. This research aims to describe and find out
the adaptability of women students who experience in dating violence.
The research conducted in the village of Padang Bulan, Subdistrict of
Medan Baru, Medan. Type of this research is descriptive thorough, where the
main informant in the research are 3 women students who have experienced in
dating violence. Data collection technique on this research are the study of
librarianship, observation and in-depth interviews with the informants. The data
obtained is analyzed qualitatively so the conclusions of the study results can be
drawn.
The research results show the adaptability of each informant in order to
responding and facing dating violence, which views based on The 7 Areas of
Resilience, that is emotional awareness and regulation, impulse control, realistic
optimism, empathy, analysis of the problem cause, self-efficacy and reaching out. | en_US |
