Background Myopia is a global problem of visual impairment that continues to increase and causes public health and economic burdens around the world. Several previous studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency has been associated with decreased visual acuity as well as visual function in people. Objective To determine the relationship between serum 25(OH)D levels with contrast sensitivity, color vision, visual field in moderate to high myopia. Methods This research is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional design. Visual function tests performed were refraction examination, Pelli Robson chart, pseudoisochromatic Ishihara, Humphrey visual field perimetry and ELISA 25(OH)D. Statistical analysis used is Fischer's Exact test, Mann Whitney, Chi Square and Spearman correlation with a significance value of 5%. Result The sample of this study was 50 patients with moderate to high myopia consisting of 39 (60%) women with an average age of 26.62 ± 3.70 years. The distribution of myopia, moderate and high was 30% and 20% with a mean spherical equivalent of -5.11 ± 1.54 D. Spearman correlation analysis was not statistically significant between serum 25OHD and contrast sensitivity (p=0.132, r=0.216) . color vision was homogeneous 50 (100%) normal, Fischer's Exact analysis of visual field in the right eye (p=0.001) in the left eye (p=0.132). People have vitamin D deficiency 24(48%), insufficiency 1(2%) with an average level of 25(OH)D 44.56 ± 41.45 ng/ml. Conclusion Levels of 25(OH)D were not significantly associated with contrast sensitivity and color vision. However, there is a significant relationship with visual field in one eyeen_US
